Koen Beauty. 
This is how I started...

I’m Paola Gonzalez, the founder of Koen Beauty. Born and raised in Venezuela, I’ve been living in the United States for the past 10 years. 

 

I am a proud mother of two girls and currently expecting my third child. As a yoga instructor, I specialized in prenatal and postnatal yoga after my second child, and for the last six years, I have dedicated myself to guiding women on a conscious and purposeful journey toward motherhood through yoga and meditation with my personal brand, Kardioyoga..

Here is how BeyondTea was born.

Tea holds a special place in my heart. Although I was born and raised in Venezuela, where coffee is the first drink of the day, my family has always cherished tea. 

 

For us, drinking tea is a ceremonial practice, providing a moment for the women in my family to gather and discuss life. It is an integral part of my identity. I’ve incorporated tea into my yoga classes from the very beginning, and when I began working with pregnant women, 

 

I saw an opportunity to offer them a product that not only alleviates the typical discomforts of this stage but also positively impacts the baby's psycho-emotional and health well-being.
